Jon Bowman, Director of Business Development for the Direct Marketing division of Salem One, will have a presentation on “Digital retargeting – taking online data and converting to direct mail”

Jon Bowman graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in with a degree in business and a minor in economics. He also holds an MBA from Wake Forest University. He joined PostMark, Inc. following graduation from Charlotte, a small direct marketing firm in Winston-Salem, NC. Jon helped grow PostMark, Inc. into a regionally recognized direct marketing organization. He became President and majority owner of the company. In February 2019 Salem One acquired PostMark. Jon is now the Director of Business Development for the Direct Marketing division of Salem One. Salem One is a national organization with three production facilities in NC – Winston-Salem, Kernersville, and Charlotte. Salem One works with brands such as Academy Sports, Floor & Decor, Lumos, and Truist.

Through his professional work, Jon has had an opportunity to guest lecture at UNC Charlotte, Appalachian State University, Elon University, Forsyth Technical Commuinty College, and UNC Chapel Hill. Additionally, he has presented at the National Postal Forum multiple times and several other regional Postal Customer Council meetings.

Jon and his wife Beth (also a Charlotte graduate),have two sons, Andrew who is a senior in Computer Engineering at Charlotte, and Peyton a Sophomore in high school, both whom have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America. Jon enjoys volunteering with Boy Scouts, Blue Ridge Trout Unlimited, and A Bed and A Book. Additionally, in his free time he likes to fly fish, tie flies, hike, and camp.

Dale Filhaber is a well-known direct marketing writer, commentator and Listologist Supreme. She is President of Dataman Group Direct, a direct marketing company based in Boca Raton FL. 

Dataman Group was founded in 1981 and has provided thousands of clients across the country with highly targeted direct mail & telemarketing lists reaching both the Homeowner & Business markets.

Dale is a Past-President of the Florida Direct Marketing Association and has been active in the Direct Marketing Industry in South Florida for many years, serving as a member of the Florida Direct Marketing Association Board of Directors for over 25 years.

Dale has received many awards including an Up & Comers Award in Entrepreneurship from Price Waterhouse and the South Florida Business Journal and a Direct Marketing Association Golden Arrow. Dale was presented with the prestigious FDMA Hall Of Fame Award in 2009 and in 2012, a Golden Mouse Award in Direct Marketing from Women in Ecommerce.  

She has spoken for the national Direct Marketing Association as well as state chapters, The Public Relations Society of America, The PCC (Postal Customer Council), Water Quality Association, the Small Business Administration, as well as local colleges about direct marketing. She has published articles about different phases of direct marketing in numerous industry magazines.

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Postal Service filed notice today with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) regarding a time-limited price change to better align its costs of transportation with the market. This temporary price adjustment will provide needed flexibility for the Postal Service by helping to ensure that the actual costs of doing business are covered, as required by Congress.
